Jan 12, 2024-Claudia in the Deli is super helpful, knowledgeable and one of, if not the hardest workers in the store. Even when I see her from across the store she is ALWAYS WORKING AND IS GREAT WITH CUSTOMERS

Although just making a small deli purchase today, Claudia gave her usual fast, friendly service. She is probably one of the best workers in the store.
When we need a cake decorated, we are sorry she left the bakery dept. so we have to go elsewhere for decorated cake and other shopping.
Thanks Claudia for your years of friendly helpful service which helps bring my family and others to this Price Chopper.

They are always sold out of everything. At all times, all the shelves are empty. Poor quality options, even if the shelves have inventory. Everything is expensive

It's perfectly ok.
The staff is a plus.

Has some surprising variety but occasionally runs out of things like dog food (I think it's at the end of someone's supply chain and subject to crazy swings in demand due to tourist economy).

I am a long-time Price Chopper customer. I primarily shop at the Oneonta, NY store, and I always have a positive experience, even when they are busy. Unfortunately, the few times I've stopped in at the Cooperstown location, it has been very different for one reason or other.
Today, only two registers open. I was patiently waiting on line (longer than usual) as the cashier took methodical and sluggish care of the customer in front of me. Another customer joined the line behind me, and suddenly, another employee appeared and ushered the customer behind me to a register that had just opened. One would think that quality customer service would take the next person on line that has been waiting an excessive amount of time!
I will stick to Oneonta from now on. Very disappointing.

Expensive but if you only purchase the sale or deal items then it's well worth it. Meat when on sale is excellent. Self check out is super quick unless you are needing paper bags then the "watchers" get pushy and shove their way in to make sure they add that 5 cents for each bag on.

Very small, not a great selection. When asking a front-end supervisor for a specific basic item I was treated like I had a third arm. She then told me I could “look around but we probably don’t have it”.

The store is brightly lit when you walk in. The store was clean, well stocked, the produce was fresh. Good prices. Fast check out lines, with friendly cashiers. The parking lot was clean and well maintained.
