Again went to the jewel on Plum grove @ 430 pm only a few pieces of old fried chicken I asked if any more was going to be made and was told no. It’s ironic cause as he told me no there was an ad on the store radio that said stop by our deli and get some delicious fresh chicken. Must have been talking about another jewel.

Had great experience yesterday. I had a mix up at the cash register. Keith at Customer Service was really nice and understanding and quickly fixed my issue. Typically I shop at this location most often but go to other locations as well. Want to express my big Thank You to Keith and management for a well run Jewel store.

This has to be the worse run deli in all Jewel's in the area. If you ever want to get fresh fried chicken don't even think about going after 5 pm at the Plum Grove location. I have attempted several Mondays no dice I take it Cheap Chicken Monday is only before 5pm. I have tried almost every day of the week and the same issue. It used to not be this way. This has been going on for months now, store manager must not care. I spoke with a deli manager at another Jewel and he told me it's the deli being lazy and not wanting to work so they can do dishes early. Who eats dinner around 5, who wants to buy fried chicken at 5 and keep it hours until dinner kind of defeats the fried part. I live less than three blocks away but yet have to go to another location every time i want chicken.

Cashiers just now on July 22nd 2024 @ 2:54 pm didn't even look at me...never said a word...no hi...nothing. Maybe my U.S.A. shirt (didn't seem to patriotic) turned them off ? It's really bad when these millennial's cannot even converse on the lowest level. This is America remember, we are suppose to unite correct. I will never ever shop here again. This is the 100% truth ! Pathetic ! PS: There sales were pretty good.

Download the Jewel app & you’ll save so much money that way. I was supposed to pay $36 after tax for fruits but I ended up paying $12 when I put in my phone number ? I also work for UberEats, & I genuinely enjoy shopping at all Jewels for the customers. They also have a liquor corner that people order drinks from often. It lets me know in what aisle and section of the store the items are. They keep it very simple when other stores like to complicate things for the shopper on the app. They have organic fruits and vegetables for an affordable price even for the customers that dont use the app. Just remember to put in your phone number at the register. The overall user experience on the app is fast and awesome, it was coded well and responds much faster compared to some apps I use. You can stack the deals, keep track of your receipts and then preorder items to pick up or get it delivered. It makes me want to constantly do repeat business. Its really cool and what you need in todays grocery store corporate-wise to keep up. Also the employees are very helpful, all you have to do is be respectful and thank them for helping you and they’re really nice back. Any time I need help finding something they stop what they’re doing right away and help me with a smile, I’m not even kidding. They stock items frequently throughout the day so there’s workers almost every where I look. I’m honestly so impressed with Jewel that I had to write this detailed review.

This is honestly the worst jewel. The produce section is very inconsistent and very dirty. I don’t think they ever clean those coolers where veggies are at. Watch the expiration dates! I constantly see stuff in the cold section that is expired. The meat coolers where they have all the raw meet are not cold enough. The chicken and pork are not stored at proper temps. Several times I had to throw out meat bc it smelled.

Good spot if you need a few things but entire groceries for the week skip it.

Stopped in for a birthday cake. Asked older gentleman at the bakery if he could write something on the cake. He replied “I ain’t no good and it and neither is my coworker, so no”. Who works in a bakery and can’t write happy birthday on a cake?! I left and went to a different store, never to return!
