Was going to Whole Foods but stopped here for a try since WF was packed — Was quite disappointed.

Whole Foods prices for average quality groceries.

Service was average as well.

Their paper bags are hard to carry too.

Will stick to Whole Foods next time.

I was always happy with Gristedes it's been my local supermarket since I've been here. The only thing is recently I had a delivery which they're very good about they're very prompt you could tell them everything that you want to orderr you don't have to go online which is a plus, the only thing is that they double billed me on something recently and I'm trying to straighten it out and having a hard time reaching out to the manager who doesn't seem to want to reply to me. It's just a simple thing they just double billed me for something. But I have to say the people there are always very nice and very helpful.

The staff is nice, friendly and professional. It’s a small store so selection is decent but not vast. Prices are so high. But it’s one of the better stores on UES/Yorkville along with Whole Foods. I like the free delivery and 10% discount for seniors on Tuesday. Makes up for the high price is a little bit.

This store is complete trash. Poor selection, way overpriced, and the workers are slow, lazy, and rude. The workers act as if customers are an inconvenience. You're way better off going to the Fairway on 86th or Whole Foods on 3rd Ave. I really hope this Gristedes goes out of business and gets replaced with a Trader Joes or Morton's at least. It's a great location that's totally wasted on this poorly run Gristedes.

Sub-standard in every way. Pricey, poor selection, freezer is filled with expired or excessively frozen (burned) items, not worth the bother except for emergency or a few items here and there.
