One of the nicest finest supermarkets I've ever seen and since I'm instacart full service shopper I'm in very many supermarkets but this store is a 5 out of 5 star store clean neat beautiful and always has what my customers want maybe one or two things once in awhile but one of the nicest stores I've ever seen in my life and one of the most quality items and the prices are not bad at all either

Great grocery store with plenty of options in a small footprint. Efficiently utilized space, lots of prepared food options and a great little indoor seating area. Selection compares to stores twice the size.

Clean and friendly staff. Love the Tuesday chicken specials, we get them weekly. Would prefer if we were not harassed at the door for promos and donations on a daily though. It makes it very uncomfortable and it's almost every day.

Lost its charm. Been coming for years and the regular checkout staff continue to be amazing.
However, there’s some new staff at checkout that seem to hate their job and it shows.

Other observations
- pre made sandwiches tasted stale
- although I was only customer, deli counter staff was too busy on his phone
- seemed the shelf restockers took joy in placing their restocking carts in places where they caused greatest obstacles for shoppers

I Recently started coming to this grocery store and it was nice at firs; But I won’t be returning as the store staff uncomfortably paced behind me literally 40 seconds after asking do I need any help.
I responded no happily, but then the staff literally followed me, stopped as I stopped when shopping.
Profiling happens here and it’s disgustingly obvious.

Took the whole little enjoyment out the little grocery run.

Decided to cut my list short at milk and cookies.

I truly like the store, food is ALWAYS fresh and it is local and perfect for picking up quick items. The checkout lines are sometimes long and slow. What I hate is that EVERY day there is some organization at the door asking for donation or sales. It makes it VERY uncomfortable to go there and sometimes we will walk to 7th street to avoid it. We work local and like to run over sometimes daily and we all feel pressured by solicitors. Today I wanted to buy a plant and turned around and walked back to work because there are men there ONCE AGAIN at the door with a table. I could not even use the front door to avoid it because the plants are outside. Management should really not allow this on a daily basis because I know for sure as a big office it deters many people from shopping there.

The store manager, Sal and the associate, Kuwanza were very courteous and extremely helpful with me. It was me and my husband’s first time there in the Garden City store and we came from South Freeport and I have to say we will be continuing to go there because the two of them! They went above and beyond and that is needed more when it comes to “Customer service”! Hats off to Sal and Kiwanis!👍
